Birmingham Royal Ballet returns with three short works from Artistic Director David Bintley.
Meet a colourful host of animals seeking shelter from the storm in "Still Life" at the Penguin Cafe: a morris dancing flea, a ballroom-dancing ram, a woolly monkey and many more. It's a witty and poignant look at man's effect on the world.
Then there's E=mc², which explores Einstein’s Theory of Relativity in music and dance, and was the winner of the last-ever South Bank Show Award for Dance. Finally, Tombeaux is David Bintley’s homage to his mentor, the great choreographer Frederick Ashton.
